Here’s one simple Detoxification Recipe that my mom used to tell me about but I never tried it. This recipe’s been used in Ayurveda for more than 5000 years. Now, who am I to disagree? How I wish I followed my mom’s advice earlier.
Bittergourd is a miraculous vegetable when it comes to Colon Cleansing/Internal Detoxification. I never ate this vegetable in my life, no matter how much my mom forced me to eat. How could someone eat such a bitter stuff? This’s the reason why I puked when I first tried this recipe. But you’ll slowly get used to it.
Try this Ayurvedic Weight Loss Remedy
One tsp Fresh Bitter gourd Juice
One tsp. Aloe Vera Juice
One tsp. Lemon Juice
One tsp. Honey( Suzanne doesn’t recommend honey but Ayurveda does and moreover I didn’t dare take it without honey).
Mix them together and gulp it down, it tastes horrible.
Another Weight Loss Remedy is-
Mix one tbsp. honey and juice of one lemon in a glass of lukewarm water and drink it on an empty stomach.
Other Natural Home Remedies for weight loss:
1. Drink lots of water to flush out toxins.
2. Increase your fruit and vegetable intake.
3. Include Mint, Carrot, Ginger, Cinnamon and Black Pepper because these foods detoxify.
4. Include fiber-rich food like Oat Brans, Beans, Lentils, Fruits, Vegetables(Specially green vegetables like Broccoli, Asparagus, Kale, Cabbage, Green Beans etc.)
5. Exercise, if you don’t like heavy work-out, at least go for a jog ,walk your dog or go swimming.
