Bee Pollen Complex – An Anti-Aging Miracle
Posted on 2009 under Anti-aging Skin Care Tips And Recipes, Beauty Foods And Supplements | 7 Comments22 Feb
Bee Pollen Complex is one of the few supplements on the market that offers real anti-aging benefits on a scientific level. I have been taking American Health’s Bee Pollen Complex for the past 6 months and it really has made a positive impact on my health. Its is a combination of Bee Pollen, Royal Jelly and Propolis. You can even take them individually if you want to take higher dosage but I don’t have patience to take so many tablets when I am already taking some other supplements.
What Are Bee Pollen, Royal Jelly and Propolis?
Bee Pollen is actually pollen from flowers that is collected from bees as they enter the hive or is harvested by other means. Royal Jelly is a thick, creamy substance produced by young nurse worker bees and is also known as bee’s milk. Propolis is resinous substance bees collect from tree buds. Bee propolis contains antioxidants called flavonoids, which are thought to be the active ingredients.
Why is Bee Pollen Good for your health
Things that occur when you begin to age:
Your skin begins to look Dull, Dehydrated and Tired
Many studies have shown that bee pollen can help with skin aging or unhealthy skin in general. The theory behind it is that the bee pollen will actually stimulate growth for new human tissues. As well, it slows the rate at which skin cells will die. This means that you might be able to rejuvenate your facial tissue through the use of Bee Pollen Complex.
You have difficulty maintaining your weight
Maintaining weight can be difficult for someone who is aging. You might be losing weight because of a lack of appetite, or gaining weight from eating and not feeling up to working the calories off. Bee Pollen Complex studies have indicated that it will actually help boost your energy. Therefore, more energy means that you will feel like getting up and moving around more. This will, in turn, stimulate your metabolism to work properly. Those that need to lose weight will feel much more active to do so. Those that do not have an active appetite might stimulate their desire to eat again.
You start seeing problems with your immune system
When people begin to age, their immune system plunders quickly. Fighting off viruses or common colds can be a real problem. Bee Pollen Complex contains several antioxidants and these antioxidants are beneficial for countering allergies. Bioflavonoid Rutin, has been shown through studies to assist white-blood cells in fighting off the viruses that we can come in contact with. Another antioxidant worth mentioning is Trans-cinnamic acid. It is actually an acid we produce ourselves as well, but the bee pollen also contains it so you will be getting an extra dose of it. It is actually a form of antibiotic. Therefore, we are also countering bacterial infections through Bee Pollen Complex too. Through all of these benefits, you will find that you will not be feeling sick nearly as frequently.
You can also apply these ingredients topically, you can read Sesame’s Post on Egyptian Magic Cream which contains these 3 ingredients.
Warning: Bee Pollen Complex can cause allergic reactions if you are allergic to Bee products so don’t take it if you are allergic to Bee products.
