Babassu oil or cusi oil is a clear light yellow vegetable oil extracted from the seeds of the Babassu palm (Attalea speciosa), which grows in the Amazon region of South America. Babassu Oil is rich in Lauric acid, the same type of Acid which is found in mother’s milk. The oil also contains plant sterols and phytostrols that magically restore skin cells.
