Did you know that Cinnamon could give you a Glowing Complexion? I had posted some recipes for Blemishes and Scars using cinnamon before.
Cinnamon works even better when you drink it as Tea. Cinnamon increases blood circulation which results in Rosy and Radiant Complexion. Don’t drink more than 1 Cup a day.
How to Brew Cinnamon Tea?
Its very simple. The process is same as brewing any herbal tea. Boil some water, add a few pieces of Cinnamon sticks (I use Ceylon Cinnamon Sticks), strain it and add some honey. Make sure you use Cinnamon and NOT Cassia sticks because often Cassia is sold as Cinnamon and you have to be really careful while selecting it.

Looks like most of my readers are interested in Skin Lightening Recipes. Well, I have one more recipe to share with you today. Most of the Skin Whitening treatments/products contain Arbutin which is found in Bearberry, Wheat and Pears. Arbutin prevents formation of Melanin and dramatically reduces pigmentation . It is one of the safest Skin Whitening treatments. There are two types of Arbutin, Alpha-Arbutin and Beta-Arbutin. Alpha Arbutin is a biosynthetic ingredient which is supposed to be 10 times more effective than Beta Arbutin(natural Arbutin) that is Bearberry(Uva Ursi) extract.

Research has shown that Eggplant(also known as Aubergine or Brinjal) can help in preventing skin cancer. Since Eggplant is rich in Vitamins, Minerals and Phytonutrients it is good for skin and it works wonders on freckles.
You can rub fresh cut eggplant directly on your face and rinse off after ten to fifteen minutes. Doing this regularly will fade your freckles, in fact, you would be able to see the result in ten days. It doesn’t mean that you will get rid of freckles in ten days but regular use can definitely make it less visible.

Skin Whitening/Lightening grabs a big chunk in this $45 Billion Beauty Industry. There are loads of products available in the market which help you get lighter complexion. There are some which just don’t work(they are there for the name sake and are loaded with harsh chemicals) and there are some which might work. I have never tried any whitening cream so I am not the right person to comment on it.
If you ask me about skin lightening remedies I will just be able to help you out with my natural face packs which I think are much safer and effective ones.

Today one of my readers emailed me to ask me if her skin pigmentation’s due to Iron Deficiency. Skin Pigmentation is not due to Iron Deficiency but it’s the exact opposite, its due to Iron Overload. Yes, when our skin accumulates more Iron than needed it will reflect on our skin by making it look dark. Iron Deficiency makes our skin look Pale, not dark. Skin Pigmentation could also be due to Vitamin E and Vitamin A Deficiency. So if your skin starts getting dark you should consider adding these Vitamins in your Daily Diet or go for additional Supplements. But please CONSULT your doctor before starting any supplement. Vitamin A overdose can have serious side effects.
