Clove Powder, an effective Home Remedy For Acne
Clove is an effective Ayurvedic remedy for acne. I know its not something everyone would want to try because like Nutmeg it also burns. But its benefits can’t be overlooked, Clove has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties and is an ideal remedy for acne. Lots of anti-acne products contain Clove Oil that is why it burns when it gets into your eyes. I have had the same problem with Biotique Facial Cleanser which contains Clove Oil. You can make your own anti-acne recipe at home using just 2 simple ingredients. Just mix one tsp. Clove Powder with Honey and apply on acne, (not on the entire face). Rinse off once it dries. Do this twice a day until it disappears.
Clove Essential Oil To Get Rid Of Acne and Acne Scars
If you have clove oil at home you can mix 2-3 drops with one tsp. virgin coconut oil or Grapeseed or Jojoba Oil and apply before going to bed. Doing this everyday will not only prevents acne but also fades acne scars. Do not use pure clove oil on skin, you need to mix it with some carrier oil, as it is very strong.

Have you tried any other biotique products? I’m interested in the Bio Clove and Turmeric face mask…but I want to know from someone who might’ve actually used it, what its like. I don’t have super bad acne, mostly scars from older worse breakouts that i would like to fade a bit and stop any new breakouts…
Hi Jesha, I haven’t tried their turmeric and clove facial mask but have tried their hair care and body care products, I find their moisturizers to be a bit greasy but shower gels and shampoos are ok. I have also tried their facial scrubs and they were pretty good, turmeric and clove sounds good for acne prone skin so let us know how it goes for you.
I have a scaron my leg from having a mole removed and it sticks out about my skin, will clove oil help to get rid of it or atleast fade it a little? And how do i do that? Just put the clove oil on as it is in the bottle?

Clove Essential Oil is good for acne scars, for scars left by mole removal you can try using a mix of Helichrysum oil and Rosehip seed oil(5 drops Helichrysum oil in 1/2 oz Rosehip seed oil).
Note: Never use any essential oil directly on skin, it will burn your skin because they are highly concentrated.
