Sensitive skin is prone to redness and rashes  easily so one should not use anything harsh. Be very careful when selecting your SkinCare products. Always go for Mild Cleanser formulated specially for Sensitive Skin. Chemical products tend to react very quickly on Sensitive Skin so always go for Organic products. Try this simple face pack-

Ingredients:

3 Tbsp Fresh Cucumber Juice
2 Tbsp Pure Aloe Vera Gel
1 Tbsp Plain Yogurt

Mix these ingredients properly and apply on your face and neck. Rinse off after 15 minutes. Cucumber and Yogurt are natural Cleanser and Aloe Vera is a Skin Soother and Moisturizer. Just perfect for Sensitive Skin.

I’m a guy and don’t normally use stuff like this but I have used some Aloe Vera and it’s pretty good stuff!

Aloe Vera seems to be the universal recommendation for soothing and smoothing. But guess what? I recently put on 100% Organic Aloe Vera Gel and it turned tomato READ itching and prickin. The face turned so red I thought it was about to explode, only the skin just around the eyes (where I hadn´t put it was normal). So, this leaves me in a real dilemma: all recommend Aloe Vera for sensitive skin, and it seems I get the worst reaction with Aloe Vera! So what should I do? I need something I can use on my skin to calm it down and reduce the redness – and not increasing the redness! Thank you!

Thats sad, could you please tell me which brand you used? Sometimes the preservative used in the product or any other additives could have an adverse effect.

  6. Nekky says:

Hypersensitive, why don’t you use fresh aloe vera from your garden, that way, you’ll know what’s on your face. Cut it open and use the pulp.
