Are you sick and tired of waking up with swollen eyes? It is definitely a matter of concern because no one wants to look tired and dull all the time. Your eyes look swollen because of the excess fluid retention and it can be due to one of the following reasons.

Heredity
Lack Of Sleep but sometimes even oversleeping can cause this.
Dehydration
High Salt Intake
Allergies
High Alcohol Intake
Fluctuating Hormone Levels

But puffiness can be reduced with the help of some simple home remedies.

Ice Cube Therapy

As soon as you wake up take a few ice cubes and wrap it with a piece of muslin cloth and dab it on the affected area.

Cold Milk Therapy

Dip two cotton balls in a bowl of cold milk and place these on your eyes for 5-10 minutes.

Tea Bag Therapy

You can also go for tea bag therapy. I had posted about it sometime back. Click here to go to that link.

Fruit and Veg Therapy

Slice some Strawberries, Cucumber or Potato(should be really cold) and place it on your eyes for about 10 minutes.

These remedies will help you get rid of Puffy Eyes.

Some more tips on dealing with Puffy Eyes-

#Try and reduce your Salt Intake
#Drink lots of water to flush excess Salt from your body.
#Use Ale Vera Gel on the affected area or any Aloe Based Eye Cream will do.
# Reduce your Alcohol Intake.
#Sleep with your head elevated to prevent fluid from collecting around your eyes.
