Who doesn’t wanna have Long and thick Lashes just like Barbie Doll? I’m sure all of us want Fuller, Thicker and Longer eyelashes. If you are interested in knowing how to get them, here are some tips . These tips are completely safe, effective and Tried And True.
Natural home remedies for thicker and longer Eyelashes
1. Apply Castor Oil or Olive Oil to your Eyelashes before going to bed.
2. You can combine equal amount of Castor Oil and Vegetable Glycerin and apply to your lashes before going to bed.

How To Apply?
You can either use your fingers or a Mascara Wand to apply . Just rub some oil between the fingers and apply it to your eyelashes and if you are using a Mascara Brush apply it the way you would apply Mascara. Do not use your Colored Mascara Brush for this purpose, you have to buy some unused Mascara Wands .

You can cut one fourth of it. I saw the result in 15 days time. And yes, I applied castor oil for around 2 months.

I din trim the bottom lashes but I applied castor oil.

You just have to apply it on your eyelashes just like you apply Mascara. If you have unused mascara brush its great otherwise u can apply it the same way with ur fingers.
There’s nothing wrong if it enters your eyes. You’ll have a burning sensation for a while but its not harmful. But its better you don let it enter.
are you sure trimming the eyelashes will work?? I thought it was just an old wives tale!!! what if it doesn’t grow back?? I have really short lashes, and I’m afraid that if I trim it it’ll just be even shorter. =x

Ya it really works. But make sure you cut only one fourth(just the tip) of it otherwise it will look odd. It will grow back in less than a month, for me it took fifteen days to see a visible result.
have heard that if u apply something oily to ur eyes the eyes develop seye…….has anybody faced this problem?????
You mean Stye? No, this recipe is completely safe and moreover stye is caused because of hormonal changes, irritating ingredients in eyeliner, mascara and eye infections.
Dont use Castor oil. today my mom told me to use it and she said that maybe it will work. I out it on for less then 2 hours and when i took it off 3 of my eye lashes fell off. >_> i was pissed. u should use vaseline though. ive been using it for a year or so and my eyelashes are really long and thick.

Hi! I have just cut my eyelashes (well, yesterday), and I have bought castor oil as well. Is it the same… everywhere? I mean, is it the cathartic pharmacy-bottled oil?
And, I’ve read all the comments – and when they say “see the improvement” – does it mean that they grow back to the length they were before? Or does it mean that they grow longer than the ones you had?
…I’m just a little concerned, because I’m kind of wanting to have eyelashes of a visible length by the time school starts.

And how do you apply the castor oil? Just as mascara..? Is it okay to have some on the eyelid? I wouldn’t want my eyes fully covered in hair..

It can be bought at a pharmacy store, organic store or online. As long as it says pure castor oil you can use it.
Your eyelashes will get thicker and longer than the ones you had before. You can either apply it with the help of a mascara brush(you can buy empty mascara bottle with brush at http://www.makingcosmetics.com for around $2)or your fingers.
There’s nothing like overdose when it comes to applying castor oil. There’s absolutely no problem if you apply it on your eyelids, in fact, castor oil can be used to erase crow’s feet.

when u use olive oil instead of castor oil does it still have the same effect ? coz in my country castor oil is not easily found …
Yes, Olive Oil works but it just takes a little longer.
I’ve tried it. Oil is better than vaseline, simply coz it’s less sticky. And cutting does help. But don’t cut much. Just a bit of the tip.

No its not dangerous, you, can trim it with scissors, just the tip(one fourth) of it.
hiya. I trimmed my lashes yesterday but i think i trimmed a bit too much off. I’m really really upset and scared now because before they were actually quite long and feminine but now they look so stupid! will they grow back?

sorry to bother but I don’t have castor oil. so should i mix vaseline and olive oil or just use one of them. How long till I see results? are you sure they will grow back?

Do you have sweet almond oil? Sweet Almond oil also works well but if you don’t have any of these oils then use Vaseline. Personally I have never tried vaseline but I know people who use it with great success.

If you just trim one fourth then it takes around fifteen days to see fuller and thicker eyelashes. Use mascara when you go out and use one of these recipes before going to bed. It should be ok.
thanks alot. I really hope they won’t stay short forever after the trim. I cut a little less than a half but not exactly a quarter but it still looks stupid atm. But i’ll post my results in 2 weeks.

Trimming is not necessary but it makes the growth process faster. Yes, Canola oil works.

No, you don’t have to trim it again, trimming once is fine and no you can’t use chapstick as it contains artificial colors and fragrance which will irritate your eyes.
I didn’t trim my eyelashes down (scared me)& I used Olive Oil & WOW my lashed have got longer & thicker! I really didn’t think it would work. I saw my lashes on the bottom first get the intial wow-factor then noticed the top. Now I will try alternating the Castor Oil & the Olive Oil to see if it helps even more.I will keep you posted!
