Biotique Pineapple Foaming Cleanser

Biotique Pineapple Foaming Cleanser

I don’t change my skin care brand very often but these days I am in a mood to experiment with different products. My skin is normal to dry but when it comes to commercial products it reacts pretty badly specially if the product contains harsh chemicals. Last month I tried Biotique’s Pineapple Cleanser, (which is all natural ) but was quite disappointed. Its because I chose a wrong product for my skin type. When I saw Pineapple as a key ingredient I was tempted to try it out thinking that it would be a mild exfoliating wash, but I was wrong. It left my skin feeling very tight ,its because this product’s meant for Oily and acne prone skin and it took me a month to realize it. It did reduce acne breakouts but its too drying for my skin type.

One more thing that I didn’t like about this cleanser was it burnt my eyes, I guess its because of Clove oil. Though it says foaming facial wash, I couldn’t see any foam, it just works like a gel cleanser.

I have used their products before and never had any problem because their products are based on Ayurveda and they use all natural ingredients but I could never find their full ingredient list anywhere. This is what I could find on their website-

Some Biotique facts for today’s “aware” users.

  • Contains no harmful chemicals.
  • Contains no synthetic fragrances or artificial preservatives.
  • Biotique does not conduct cruel tests on animals.
  • All Biotique preparations are environmentally friendly and bio-degradable.

Biotique Pineapple Foaming Face Cleanser, Perfect For Oily Skin

If you are have oily and acne prone skin then you might find this soap free Pineapple Cleanser useful as it tends to leave your skin squeaky clean and also prevents acne breakouts. Make sure you don’t let it enter your eyes because it irritates your eyes. Main ingredients used in this cleanser are Pineapple Extract, Clove Oil, Neem Extract and Euphorbia Extract(this plant is know for its healing properties in Ayurveda).

Biotique Pineapple cleanser is available on Amazon

I have just ordered Lavera Wild Rose Cleansing Milk which is specially created for dry and mature skin. I hope its good.
