I was using Logona’s mineral toothpaste until my morning sickness kicked in at 6 weeks. Once it kicked in brushing became a nightmare! I couldn’t use that toothpaste and even my homemade toothpaste failed the test because every single thing under the sun made me gag and throw up. So I ordered Logona’s Kid’s Strawberry Toothpaste and boy was I thrilled! That was one toothpaste that let me BRUSH without gagging. I used that toothpaste during my entire pregnancy and even a few months postpartum. I started to find that boring and wanted to try some new flavor so bought Green People’s Citrus and Aloe Vera and Fennel and Propolis Toothpaste. I love to experiment with different flavors of toothpaste and of course they have to be natural and free from all those nasties.

I used to hate the smell of fennel before but had started eating fennel seeds after my pregnancy for milk supply so thought it wouldn’t be a bad idea to try a fennel toothpaste. I didn’t mind Green People’s Fennel and Propolis Toothpaste’s smell. Its very refreshing yet very gentle on teeth and gums. It doesn’t foam much but better than Logona’s Mineral toothpaste (not that foam matters much).

Green People Toothpaste are certified organic SLS-free, fluoride-free and 100% natural.

When the Fennel Toothpaste got over I was excited to try the Citrus one and boy was I disappointed! Inititally I thought it was ok but when I reached halfway I realized that it was not for me, it was making my teeth way too sensitive (though the tube says good for sensitive teeth and gums). However I noticed that it made my teeth whiter, its because of the citrus but it was not doing any good for me as I was unable to eat or drink anything . So I am going back to Logona Mineral Toothpaste which is meant specifically for sensitive teeth and gums, will review it later.

I recommend Fennel and Propolis toothpaste but Citrus Toothpaste definitely is not for the people with sensitive teeth and gums.
