Zinc For Acne

Zinc is a mineral which has a lot of health benefits and one of them is it helps prevent acne. Foods rich in Zinc are Red Meat, Pumpkin Seeds, Yogurt, Sesame Seeds, Mustard Seeds, Green Peas, Shrimps, Asparagus, Basil, Thyme, Spinach, Broccoli etc. Make Zinc Rich Food a part of your meal and see the difference. Zinc can treat as well as prevent formation of Acne. You can go for Zinc Supplement but its better you talk to your doctor before taking any supplement. He’ll be able to tell you the correct dosage required for your skin condition.
Sesame And Mustard Pack For Acne
Sesame and Mustard are rich in Zinc, their topical application can help you get rid of acne and oral intake can prevent it from coming back.
Soak some Sesame Seeds and Mustard Seeds in water for 5-6 Hours and grind it to make a smooth paste. Apply the mixture on acne(not on the whole face) and rinse off after fifteen minutes. Do this 3 times a day, your acne would vanish in less than 2 days. You can also add a pinch of Turmeric Powder if you have, this makes the healing process faster.

Thank you for realizing me the significane of Zinc in curing acnes. The only problem with me was that I am a vegetarian but now as you mentioned about the sesame seeds which are very beneficial indeed have given me one more hope to clear up my face. Truly enjoy your blog. I myself am fond of organics as well. And truly there are some many beneficial tips here. How about more Complexion evening remedies? The skin on my face used to be one color when I was in my elementary years, now it seems to be all over the place (I am in High School) Does skin normally return to normal after the teenage years?

You have to follow a good skincare routine regardless of your age. Make sure that you cleanse, exfoliate(once a week), tone and moisturize at least twice a day. DO NOT skip your sunscreen lotion even if its cloudy outside. Sunburn could result in uneven skin tone. Try and eat lots of citrus fruits and berries and rub lemon or any citrus fruit or berry on your face, rinse off after ten minutes and follow with a sunscreen lotion/cream.
